Electric socket and plug C An electrical socket & plug type C are most commonly used in Europe. The only exceptions are a few countries (UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta)

This type of electrical plug is not grounded. It has two round pins. These pins have a thickness of 4.0mm - 4.8mm. These plugs and sockets are used for devices that require a maximum of 2.5Amp.

Socket and plug type C is obsolete and is being replaced by types E, F, J, K or N. These types of sockets are compatible with type C plug.
