Electric socket and plug M An electrical socket & plug type M is used by countries (South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho). For a complete list of countries using an M-type plug, see below.

This type of electrical plug is grounded. It has three round pins. It is very similar to a D-type plug but has much wider pins. It is often used in countries that use type D. Type M is used for larger devices. It is also sometimes used in Israel.
Power Plug type M is not compatible with any other type. To connect your devices you will need a type M .
